Creating a Realistic Ocean with Foam in Cycles

Ocean Title3

Learn how to make great looking oceans with Blender’s ocean modifier, cycles, and dynamic paint!

Because the original video was too long to upload, I had to awkwardly split it up into two parts.

I am sure that with your talent, you can take this technique and really expand upon it to make a super awesome ocean!

Just to make sure, do you have the “+” sign checked next to the DP outputs? Also, I have seen a bug where it doesn’t show up unless you click on the other vertex color in the object data properties. Sorry that’s not much, but one of those should fix it!

Great tutorial! I was wondering if you could post a finished blend of a screenshot of the texture nodes. I’m having trouble with my wake and I’m fairly positive it’s due to my attributes/texture nodes set up.

I learned SO MUCH!! you are very kind to take the time to post tuts.
